TSRC Porsche Cup S1 Season Review
The TSRC Porsche Cup on iRacing was a brand-new championship for the community, and what a season it turned out to be. The series featured the recently updated Porsche 911 Cup (992.2), which received a handling and tyre model overhaul alongside an electronics upgrade, bringing updated traction control and, for the first time, ABS.
In the new machinery, drivers faced a five-week calendar packed with challenging circuits, including Algarve, Oulton Park and Sebring. Alongside the drivers’ championship, a teams’ championship was introduced for the first time, with each team’s top two scoring drivers contributing to the overall team tally each round.
The Drivers’ Championship
The drivers’ championship was a spectacle from start to finish. Tom Davidson, Jamie Nuttall, Jack Southfield and Kieran Sharp were the standout names, regularly battling it out at the sharp end of the field for podium positions. No round was straightforward. Whether it was tricky bumps and kerbs demanding respect on a dry day, or the occasional bout of challenging weather conditions adding further drama.
Jack Southfield showed exceptional pace in extreme wet conditions, as he demonstrated at Oulton Park, a skill he has displayed in other championships too. Jamie Nuttall, meanwhile, was flying around the extreme kerbs and elevation changes of Road Atlanta. It was Kieran Sharp, however, who proved the most consistent of all, delivering podium finish after podium finish before wrapping up the championship title with a tidy and measured effort.
New Faces on the Grid
The season also welcomed several new names to the grid. Mitch Wolliston may not have been at the sharp end, but he showed real resilience by surviving some of the most challenging rounds, including the wet races at Algarve and Oulton Park. The “Flying Dutchmen” duo of Raymon van Zutphen and Otto Karis also joined for their first TSRC championship, both putting in a valiant effort and narrowly missing out on third place in the teams’ standings.
The Teams’ Championship
The teams’ championship added an interesting dynamic, rewarding teamwork and consistent results from both drivers. The battle at the top was a tough fight between TSRC Esports and CRACKD.RACING, but it was the big point-scoring duo of Kieran Sharp and Jack Southfield that ultimately delivered the teams’ title for TSRC Esports.
The Polish outfit Łukasz Crew rounded out the top three, impressing as newcomers to the championship, particularly towards the end of the season, with Miłosz Męski shaking things up and scoring valuable points.
Looking Ahead
After an entertaining season, the community now looks ahead to two new championships. The TSRC GR Cup begins on Monday 6th April 2026, followed by the return of Tin Top Sprint for its third season, starting on Wednesday 15th April 2026.
